"Greetings fellow Hapans, and welcome to the HNN nightly news. Still live from Centrepoint Station, we bring you the latest news from inside the Cluster.
Tonight's top story relates to the Royal Hapan military. Most recently, the Home Fleet - the personal naval fleet of the King himself - had many of its ships put in for service by command of His Majesty. The ships in particular are Bayonet-class light destroyers and exactly 4 are expected to be refurbished.
The bayonet that has reported in first and is in the process of its makeover, is the HRS Victoria - of course named after Her Royal Majesty, Queen Victoria. Esteemed pilot and Home Fleet officer, Lionola Ayun, made excellent time in the docking of the Victoria, giving it a good head lead in front of the rest of the bayonets. The main modifications that are expected to be done on the bayonets are giving them new coats of paint and checking and rechecking the ships for damage or lack of performance. Furthermore, they are being upgraded with the latest in Hapan and Hapan-owned business technology, making them far superior to their retail counterparts. The bayonets are among the only ships in the RHN that are not of Hapan make, therefore they are not customized for the tasks given to them thus making it harder for Hapan pilots to command. The new modifications will involve replacing the default controls with Hapan-made ones, making it easier for the Home Fleet's best."
Anacia clears her throat before continuing.
"However, the bayonets are not the only ships being given makeovers. It has been reported that all YV-666 and Galforee ships have been given new paintjobs. These types of ships, often used by the RHA and Marines, have been given the traditional camouflage look. Due to the RHA's increased duties in scanning, the new camouflage look would make it easier and more stealthy while performing these types of missions within our own system, seeing as most planets within our borders are full of lush forestation.”
Anacia takes a small breath before she continues with the last part of her story.
“The Home Fleet was also very pleased to announce a new addition to their fleet, another Bayonet-class light destroyer, as if it couldn’t have come at a better time when the ships are scheduled for their upgrades. The very generous benefactor of the Bayonet, Tara Tylger, a very known figure to Hapes, issued this gift to the King himself. The King happily and enthusiastically accepted the gift and publicly thanked Tara on her act of charity. The new Bayonet has been authorized as a Hapan ship and has been added to the Home Fleet. It will receive its augmentations along with the rest of the bayonets as soon as possible.
That's it for tonight's HNN updates. Tune in next time for further updates on Hapan happenings. Once again, Hapes thanks Tara Tylger for her donation. Good evening to you all. I’m Anacia Chalcedon. Honor, Pride, and Glory to all!”
The screen starts to fade, followed by the HNN theme and logo flashing proudly across the screen, soon the screen shows static and your next program is announced...
