Architects and city planners are working overtime on the latest city to grace the surface of the Hapan homeworld, and insiders say that it will be a masterpiece indeed. Though the project is still in the design stage and formal proposals are just beginning to be drawn up, the mere fact that such a talented array of architects and designers have taken an interest in the project ensures great things to come.
While no specific details are yet known, experts say that we should expect to see a classic Hapan melding of common-sense functionality with breathtaking beauty. Hapan cities are known throughout the galaxy for their beautiful gardens and majestic buildings, and this showpiece of Hapan design is sure to employ both in stunning proportions, while still maintaining the sensible and precise layout that is so characteristic of Hapan productivity. One of the project’s chief designers stated before the press that, “While I can’t say anything for certain yet, expect to see the best that Hapes has to offer. This city is intended to be a model of the glorious potential of the Cluster, and we’re trying to make our designs mirror that sentiment. A city on a hill, if you will.”
Whatever the eventual result, it promises to be a truly astonishing marvel of architecture and engineering, showcasing the natural beauty that Hapes has to offer, and mingling it with the height of Hapan civilization. Further proposals will be submitted within the next few weeks, and we’ll keep you informed of how things shape up.
