"After arriving in Chume`Dan, the Trade Federation representatives were led inside the Fountain Palace by senior representatives of the Hapes Consortium. The visitors were given an official tour of the compound, which included an elaborate lunch in the gardens. The Trade Federation party included Viceroy Jacob Jansen, Regent Olwin Froon, Minister Metyl Onyx, and Diplomat Morga Deva. With several wings of the palace undergoing renovations, the tour was largely restricted to the major halls and chambers dedicated to Hapan history, such as the Hall of Masters.
In the throne room, King Alexander declared that he was naming Viceroy Jansen an honorary Duchix - Duke - of Hapes. Answering questions from the press after the small, private ceremony, Vilicus Danara Bajetix stated that the appointment was strictly ceremonial and honorary in nature, and that it would have no impact on the Council of Lords.
Quoting Bajetix, 'Appointment to peerage is left entirely to the wishes and will of His Majesty. He has, however, stressed that Jansen's title is ceremonial, and by and large a symbol of the high esteem that the King holds the Viceroy in. While the Viceroy will not be included in the Council of Lords, he will be permitted to utilize a Battle Dragon when visiting Hapan space and a small estate will be constructed for him as a symbol of his title.'
An official holograph, taken in the throne room after the conclusion of the ceremony, was released, depicting the Viceroy accompanied by the King, Lord Regent, and the Princesses of Hapes."
"The following day was spent with a tour of the capital city, including Lorell Hall and other government buildings. In the afternoon, the two travelled across the countryside escorted by the Chume'doro, as the King and Viceroy enjoyed a hunting expedition across the vast grassland and forests of the planet's northern continent.
In the evening, an official state dinner was conducted in the Hall of Heroes in the Fountain Palace with planetary rulers, nobles and officials from across the Hapes Cluster in attendance. After dessert was served, and conversations ensued in to the night, Viceroy Jansen briefly addressed guests as a conclusion to the evening."

"Honored leaders of the Hapes Consortium,
We have greatly enjoyed today's events, such as the tour of the palace grounds which we were grateful to experience. I am also humbled and thankful to have received the title of Duke, something I never would have imagined having spent much of my adult life away from the Hapes Cluster. It also warms my heart to be present as the Hapes Consortium celebrates forty years since its reunification.
It is good to have such good friends just across our borders. I am pleased to see our alliance continue to stand strong and offer opportunities like this one where we can come together as a group. In return we are happy to present you with three Lucrehulk 3210 Battleships, the Imperieuse, Revenant and Victrix, to utilize for as long as you need. I am sure you will put them to good use.
Tomorrow we will be partaking in the final ceremonies before our departure. Therefore we thank you for your hospitality and bid you farewell."

"Today, His Majesty and the Viceroy flew two of the Chume'doro's Vhork squadron Miy'Til Interceptors from the Fountain Palace to orbit where they conducted tours of several Trade Federation and Hapan vessels. The presentation of arms concluded with a visit to the Battle Dragon HRS Phoenix, which holds significant symbolic value in the Hapan-Trade Federation historical relationship."
The image cuts to archive footage dated 4030 from a cam-bot outside the Pulsar Battle Cruiser, capturing a snapshot of King James, Viceroy Corbin Esco, and Prime Minister Choibacco watching the launch of the HRS Phoenix reflected on the transparisteel.
"King Alexander gave a speech on the bridge of the HRS Phoenix, speaking warmly of the Trade Federation and paying tribute to the long relationship between the two nations."

"It has been ten, long years since the Trade Federation was a nationalized corporation of the Hapes Consortium.
After the Hapan Civil War and the Clone Wars, Trade Federation engineers came to the Hapes Cluster, avoiding the purges that followed the conclusion of the latter conflict. They found a home in the Consortium and helped us develop the Miy'Til Interceptor. Shortly after the Black Sun Crisis a decade ago we launched the first Battle Dragon, this very ship, the Phoenix.
Symbolic of the close relationship between the Hapes Consortium and Trade Federation at the time, King James invited Viceroy Esco to be in attendance for the launch, observing alongside Prime Minister Choibacco. Since that time, the Galaxy has changed, the Hapes Consortium has changed, and the Trade Federation has changed.
The Trade Federation branched out and once again became a government in its own right, as it had been prior to the end of the Clone Wars. Now, the Hapan and Trade Federation leaders stand here, onboard the Phoenix, as equals. And we recognize the long, rich history that our nations share. Although Esco's successors did little to continue the relationship between our two sovereign states, the ascension of Viceroy Jansen ushered in a new era of friendly Hapes-Tanaab relations. Thus, the Neshig Accords became a reality. We are now two nations united in common purpose in the Galactic Concordiate, and in the Galaxy itself.
It has been a pleasure to be host to Viceroy Jansen and members of his cabinet and directorate over the last few days, and hopefully this event will only serve to strengthen the ties between our nations further as we move forward in to a prosperous future.
Long live the Hapes Consortium! Long live the Trade Federation!"
