An unspecified Hapan space station is getting a face-lift this week, thanks to the efforts of an aspiring painting company and the generosity of an anonymous sponsor. Roik and Gibiv Painters, Inc. is a small firm trying to make a name for itself in the galaxy as a painter of everything from space ships to buildings, and it is currently turning its expert hands to a spectacular mural on the side of a massive Hapan defense station, though the precise location and name of the particular space station have not been revealed to the public.

Part publicity stunt and part artistic masterpiece, the enormous mural promises to be a remarkable sight indeed. Plans for the design portray an immense Hapan eagle with wings and talons outstretched, over a backdrop of towering snow-capped mountains and a sparkling lake. Those on board the station have reportedly commended the design as a fitting representation of the balance between the raw power of the Hapan military and the beautiful worlds of the Cluster that it protects.

This impressive undertaking was made possible by the generous donation of a local though still anonymous businessman who contracted with Roik and Gibiv Painters for the mural on behalf of the Hapan Government, apparently negotiating a reduced rate in return for the publicity that this up-and-coming painting company is bound to receive from their momentous project. A spokesperson for the company stated that they are very pleased and very grateful to have received this opportunity, and hope to pursue future projects in the future.

Though in stark contrast to the cold gray steel of the rest of the defense station, this mural promises to be a truly beautiful addition, revealing the more elegant side of a people renowned for both their military might and their love of natural beauty. Perhaps we will even see more such works of art adorning other Hapan ships and space stations in the future.
